Curbside garbage and recycling collection
Garbage fees are billed each month to Coon Rapids residents on their utility bill. Garbage and recycling are picked up every Wednesday morning, so please put your bins on the curb Tuesday evening.  If a holiday occurs prior to Wednesday, pick up will likely be delayed until Thursday.  Watch local TV channel 3 for updates. Recycle bins can be picked up from the City Clerk’s office during regular hours.

Yard debris
Grass clippings, flowers and leaves can be deposited at the city's compost pile located on South First Avenue. Compost dirt is available to residents as well. Tree brush can be taken to the city's brush pile located south of Coon Rapids; no treated wood, only trees and branches.
